AIDS Care Teams In Our Neighborhoods
People with AIDS come from many backgrounds and have many different experiences dealing with the disease and its effects. However, often people living with HIV/AIDS find themselves feeling isolated and in need of others to interact with and share their feelings and every day experiences with. Despite the improvement in treatment, the treatments do not work for everyone and the consequences of long-term treatment for HIV have brought a new range of complications. The need for longer-term support and friendship has increased.
